13th July - National Festival - Come and join in the fun and watch the parade starting from 8pm with firework on the Pleney at 10pm

14th July - The Morzine/Avoriaz Road Bike Climb - for those of you who fancy a go at beating Bernard Hinault 33 minute record up to Avoriaz, now's your chance.  Reegister on the day or call 04.50.74.72.72 for more information.

15th July - Heros Games - Team Challenge in the tourist office square including bungee running and sumo wrestling

16th July - One for the Children - Circus Skills Workshop from 4-6pm in the toursit office square

17th - 18th July - 4x4 Trial at Les Prodains (by the cable cars).  Lots to see with the test stage starting at 8am on Saturday

19th July to 25th August - Van Gogh Exhibtion 'The Garden of a Poet, Arles 1888' at the Palais des Congrès.

21st - 24th July - Lind' Art Festival - A musical journey covering East to West with flute, Japanese percussion and strings.  Contact the Tourist Office for tickets and prices.

28th - 30th July - The World of Morz'na.  A family treat not to be missed with Workshops, gentle walks and interactive shows

 

19th & 20th June - Bike Festival - A weekend dedicated entirely to bike activities for all ages.  Choose from a bike ride from Morzine to Avoriaz and Cyclosportive in the Vallée d’Aulps for the more eager of you. You'll find demonstations, trials and the opportunity to try different equipment as well as bike games and contests. www.morzine-avoriaz.com

26-27 June - MTB Pass'Portes du Soleil - The famous MTB trek in both France and Switzerland, the 75 km circuit uses 13 lifts, 6 pitstops and a 6000m total descent! www.passportesdusoleil.com

3rd July, The Circus is coming to town ...The Zavatta Circus will be bringing all the favourites of the big top including clowns, acrobats and of course the animals.

5th, 12th, 19th & 26 July, Morzine Tourist Office Weekly Welcome Drinks - Pop down and find out about upcoming events, all while drinking a glass of Chartreuse and cheese from the Alpage dairy. From 4pm - 6pm

6th, 13th, 20th and 27th July - Visite des Ardoisieres - Franck Buet, a young slate miner, invites you to his mine in Prodains valley at ''Ardoisières'', where you'll also find his workshop. All the stages in slate tile production are explained, as well as the history of mining in the valley. Meet at 5pm.

14th July - Morzine-Avoriaz Cycle Race - Rider will attempt to beat the 533 minute record set by Bernard Hinault during the 1979 Tour de France.  Registration at the open air hall by the church on the day.  Call 04.50.74.72.72 for more information.

21st July - Jeu de Piste - Why not discover Morzine's best-kept secrets and the change to win prizes by solving riddles dotted around the village.  Game rules and free registration at the Tourism Office where the prize giving will also take place at 5pm.
